PASSING OF A BELOVED BABY

& A DEAR FRIEND

 

 

 

It's been very sad here at the nursery this week, one of my most lovable adult babies passed away after a short battle with cancer he had been one of my babies for many years and his lovable nature and cheeky personality had made him a personal friend. Sadly I found out that his ex wife and his family would not attend his funeral because of his baby lifestyle but my nannies and I made sure that his funeral was well attended! We all travelled to kent with 10 of his adult baby friends from here at Mummy Amanda's Nursery to pay our repects to a very brave and special person I had a huge white floral teddy bear made for his coffin and many tears were shed.

 

Life is a very short journey so try to make every day a special day!

A REAL LIFE ACCOUNT OF WHAT IT IS REALLY LIKE AT ONE OF LONDON'S ADULT BABY PARTIES

"Your first nappy is free, "says Joe. "After that, they're a quid each. There are two rooms with changing tables for customers use and a play room for cuddles.

 

It's Saturday at the Adult Baby Club, a monthly party held in a basement round the back of London's King's Cross station, where, despite the councils best efforts, there's still quite a seedy vibe.

 

According to ABC's website, tonights event is a safe place for AB's, DL's, their daddies, mummies and friends to play".

 

Joe guides me through the gloom into the main room where a group of blokes stand around chatting and drinking bottled beer to soft rock. It's a pretty normal scene, like staff drinks at an IT firm, except everyone's wearing disposable nappies. Joe's been helping out at the party for seven years.

"I do the spanking night on a Thursday as well." he says. He shakes my hand. He's small with East End cabbie glasses, but he has a ferocious grip, no doubt honed by all that paddling.
